Une purge malgré le casting alléchant. Ford et Oldman font le job, dans une pâle copie réactualisée de Conversation secrète ou Ennemi d&39;état. Même en se montrant conciliant, ça se regarde avec pas mal d&39;ennui.

C&39;est gras, vulgaire, pas finaud du tout, mais on passe un petit moment à rire. Bon cast, le WTF Tomer Sisley à part.

Very Bad Trip 3

Le wolf pack a perdu tout son mordant dans ce très dispensable 3e volet, qui a le mérite de convier des personnages croisés dans les deux précédents opus. L'intrigue se tient mais a perdu la folie furieuse de Very Bad trip (The Hangover) premier du nom. Si j'avais trouvé le second volet sympathique, quoique calqué sur le premier, celui-là m'a plus fait sourire que me gondoler.
Alan et Chow assurent le show, mais ça ne suffit pas. Sitôt vu, sitôt oublié. Je vais aller m'en jeter un à la santé de ce que fut le wolf pack.

Je désespérais de revoir ce brûlot signé Joe Dante (Gremlins, Small Soldiers) où des États font sécession sur des questions d'immigrations. Médias, politique, armée sont passés à la moulinette d'un humour corrosif. Ce film d'anticipation a désormais plus de 15 ans mais reste, pour moi, d'actualité. Je vous le conseille vivement. Et je suis ravi d'en redécouvrir une copie de qualité (il était introuvable).

Insaisissables

Un casting de haute volée, Harrelson en tête, et... c'est à peu près tout. J'espérais me faire duper par un scénario malin, j'ai eu le sentiment d'être juste pris pour une andouille par un scénar indigent et bourré d'incohérences (le ponpon avec un twist final complètement naze). Leterrier fait tourner sa caméra faute de choses intéressantes à filmer (le 3e tour de magie où il ne se passe RIEN). On est très loin du Prestige ou de L'illusionniste. Je doute que la version Extended améliore les choses.

Ce remake vaut bien mieux que sa réputation. A déguster en VO pour l'accent improbable de Tom Hanks et toujours des trouvailles de mise en scène qui font tout le sel des films des frères Coen. A (re)découvrir.
