It Follows
Commenté par toki (17) le Ce film est bourré de défauts, mais le pitch est génial. Une fois qu'on a vu "It Follows", on a du mal à l'oublier.
A voir absolument, même si c'est loin d'être un chef d'oeuvre.

Un slasher movie flamand sans scénario, sans ambiance. Tout est convenu et rien n'est exploité.
Il y avait pourtant de quoi faire avec des scouts. Une déception.
The Raid 2
Commenté par toki (17) le Le 1er était magistral, époustouflant mais sans un véritable scénario. Le n°2 s'est voulu plus bavard, ils ont voulu nous raconter une histoire. Grosse erreur ! Dure de ne pas s'effondré de tristesse face à la nullité de ce scénario digne d'une sous série Z. The Raid 2 a tout perdu de son intérêt.

Grabbers
Commenté par toki (17) le Pas assez loufoque pour faire rire et pas assez réaliste pour faire peur. Grabbers est un simple petit film de monstre comme il en existe des tonnes, avec tout de même de très bon SFX.

Commenté par toki (17) le J'ai longtemps cru en David Twohy. Malheureusement, il faut accepter les évidences, Pitch Black sera son seul bijou. David Twohy n'a pas le budget pour ses ambitions gigantesques et malheureusement n'a pas le talent. Riddick 2013 est embarrassant. Tout y est tellement mauvais. On dirait un très très mauvais pastiche de Pitch Black.

The Call
Commenté par toki (17) le Une très bonne idée, un excellent concept, un début de film incroyable prenant... et puis la moitié du film devient ultra prévisible, le script s'effondre et l'ennuie apparaît. Une énorme déception.
La Malédiction de Chucky
Commenté par toki (17) le Une grosse déception. Le moins bon des chucky. Un film ultra prévisible. Des personnages transparents, un film cloisonné dans une maison, une poupée qui n'effraye personne et un twist final ridicule.
Dommage la saga régresse.
Star Trek Into Darkness

Ce nouveau Star Trek est réalisé et produit par des fans de Star Wars... on y trouve de tout sauf du Star Trek, ce qui est loin de me déplaire.
On y voit Kirk, un jeune fou impulsif (Anakin?), qui part à la poursuite d'un Jedi qui a paumé son sabre laser. Manque plus que 1 ou 2 robots et on pourrait se croire devant Star Wars 7.

Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons
Commenté par toki (17) le Du Stephen Chow pur jus. Dans la grande lignée de "Shaolin Soccer" et "Kung Fu Hustle".
Un mélange unique d'humour, d'effets spéciaux et de kung fu.
Ce n'est pas le meilleur Stephen Chow mais je n'ai pas boudé mon plaisir. Un grand moment de fun, d'humour et d'action.
Outre son côté diversifiant, Journey to the West doit être vu pour côté culturel.
Nous, pauvres ignares d'occidentaux, nous ignorons presque tout du "Voyage en Occident" un roman du XVIe siècle qui a influencé toute l'Asie. Grâce à Stephen Chow, nous allons pouvoir apprendre cette légende tout en nous amusant.
Le personnage le plus connu du "Voyage en Occident" est le "Roi des singes" (Sun Wukong en chinois et... Son Gokū en japonais) qui possède un bâton magique et vole sur un nuage... cela ne vous rappelle pas le manga d'un certain Akira Toriyama?

The Ward : L'Hôpital de la terreur
Commenté par toki (17) le J'adore John Carpenter. J'ai vu tous ses films plusieurs fois... Tant de chef d'oeuvre, et il y a son épisode de "Master of Horror" et "The Ward". Sic ! J'espère de tout coeur que Big John va terminer sa carrière sur une plus belle note. The Ward sent le vieux, est ultra prévisible et finalement ne raconte rien d'autre qu'un twist final qu'on a malheureusement compris dès les 10 premières minutes du film.
Mauvais à pleurer !

Chinese Zodiac

Ma vie avec Liberace
Commenté par toki (17) le On ne peut que conseiller ce téléfilm au casting incroyable. Michael Douglas est méconnaissable en grande Diva et Matt Damon est incroyable dans son rôle de giton. On ne peut qu'applaudir ces acteurs d'avoir soutenu un film dont personne ne voulait. Comme aucun producteur n'était intéressé, HBO a produit un téléfilm classieux.
Au final, ce téléfilm a été sélectionné au festival de Cannes 2013.
